My name is Andrea Gauthier and I began teaching in 2008. Before joining the Lone Star family, I taught three years of junior high choir in Waller ISD and Magnolia ISD, and three years of elementary music in Willis ISD. Montgomery has been my hometown since I was 4 years old and I graduated from MHS in 1998.
I attended Sam Houston State University where I completed both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Music Performance. After completing my performance degrees, I continued my education and received my Teaching Certificate in 2008. In addition to teaching, I am a full time mom. When I'm not at school, I'm with my family. We love spending ALL of our spare time hanging out as a family.

I believe that music is a universal language that anyone can learn to speak, read, and perform. My goal is for students to develop the skills to read, write, analyze and perform music from a variety of genres and styles. My hope is that their musical journey is filled with engaging and fun activities that create lifelong memories and a deeper appreciation for music.
I LOVE teaching at LSE and look forward to meeting and getting to know each child and sharing my love of music with them.
